Roamin’ Around - OOTD

I've been getting a lot of inspiration and ideas recently that have been becoming more and more present within not only my thoughts but outlooks on...everything. Whether it's through books, Instagram or just people on the street, I'm taking it all in and trying to reflect and see what I like and get influence from.

I've dabbled into more classic pieces these days, and really couldn't pass up on this twist of this blouse. I love the victorian (or clown like, depends how you spin it) collar and short sleeves, making it a versatile top all year round.

Paired with these skinny raw hemmed jeans, the outfit has touches of edge and clean lines throughout.

While I love color and have some bouncing in and out of my closet, sometimes it's just nice to have a neutral look but create other points of differentiation like texture, silhouette and shapes.

I absolutely love this watch. I really wanted a mixed metal watch that was simplistic in design. It can be dressed up or dressed down,  is incredibly comfortable (don't even notice that I'm wearing it sometimes) and looks more expensive than it actually is (for a watch I think it's an amazing price). I'll feature more close ups of it in an upcoming post but you can get a glimpse of it here and my last blog post.

Last but not least. The shoes. These shoes. give me life. While i've gotten comments of them being shoes that belong on a farm, or small town country shoes, I really enjoy the look of them. They are essentially a low heeled mule but the strap just makes it so much easier to walk in and not slip out of. They give outfits a more polished look and I love that they are in this dirty grey colour that just makes it so much easier to take care of.
