Hello 2018. Hello later 2018.

I'm feeling a lot more like myself than I have in a very long time and I think its time to get back into the swing of things. 2017 was a very hard year in terms of professional growth and while I have learnt a tremendous deal, I have spent a lot of time at work, thinking about work or stressing out about work... However, I know that for me to be able to succeed and be happy, I really must make more of an effort to have a balance and do things for myself. So I've been trying to go home at a reasonable time (there are exceptions) and have days to indulge into things that I love. Many travels are planned and life events are happening this year, so I think it is the perfect time to focus on other aspects of my life.

While I know life throws you into the deep end and has you experiencing things you never thought you would overcome, there's always light at the end of the tunnel whether you believe so or not *enter the most repetitive sayings of your lifetime here*. Despite all these quotes and sayings, not losing hope and not getting consumed by negativity are the most important things you can do for yourself.

Here's to living our best life. Here's to producing more content. Here's to letting things go. Here's to 2018.

See you soon x
