Neon - OOTD
This OOTD is all about firsts. First time doing a shoot at night, first time experimenting with colors, specifically street lights and first time Terrie comes and shoots in Toronto :)
You probably can't tell, but this was an exceptionally cold night. Seriously - it was friggin' freezing.
The hoodie, long in length and beige, combines feminine elements such as satin-like material draping at the bottom and ribbon as the strings, putting a nice and unique twist on your average casual sweater. Pairing it with this loose fitting Obey coat making the outfit into a more androgynous look.
With a cap, my favourite Adidas sneakers and rope detailed backpack - this is one of those looks for galavanting around town. Or sitting alone beside graffiti in the next shot.
Re-incorporating pieces from my wardrobe and creating a new look and storyline for them is really what styling is all about. The purse, coat and shoes are staples in my closet that are versatile and easy to mix and match.
Also - these leggings are probably the most comfortable and softest pair I have ever owned. Launched within the past year, the Girlfriend Collective offer leggings and sports bras perfect for any body shape. These pieces are made out of recyclable material and are made in safe working conditions free from child or forced labour. Companies like Girlfriend Collective are really looking to change the world for the better - so go check them out.
