The Showcase: Fall Jackets
There might not be much left of fall - but the start of December is still mild enough to get away with lighter outerwear. Here are some of the highlights of my collection that fit a variety of my different moods and looks. As you can tell - I love beanies and this one from Obey has been a staple of mine this fall.
1. Laidback & Relax - UNIF Checkered Coat
For those lazy days - or just days where you want to look a lot more casual - this coat is an everyday must for me - the boxy oversized shape is just what I like when roaming in the streets.
2. Clean Cut & Jazzy - ZARA Jacquard Styled Coat
This coat has been in my possession for 2 years now and I still manage to bring it out on the reg. For a more sophisticated and polished look - this coat can really step up an outfit when needed. This one gets worn on a lot of nights out.
3. Textured & Uncommon - Perforated Light Grey Suede Jacket
We're getting to the shorter length coats with this cool number. This biker style jacket has unique details including its colour and texture that really makes it stand out for the fall. Unfortunately, I am not sure of the brand of this jacket because it is currently still in MTL (mentioned in my previous post - now in TO) but it is still a distinct piece to have in my wardrobe.
4. Edgy & Badass - UNIF Skeleton Jacket
This one is certainly the stand out of the bunch with its nifty design. Not a piece that I wear daily but one that I enjoy time to time when I really want my look to be striking.
5. Twist on a Classic - ONLY Faux Leather Jacket
While people's go-to is the black leather jacket (faux or not) - I thought that maybe I could do it differently. This chestnut brown (basically a more milk chocolatey brown) alternative creates more dimension to one's outfit.
I actually have more than this when it comes to jackets (#shopaholic) but I thought that this could give you a good taste of what I'm working with. Any favourites? What are your outerwear staples for Fall?
