Parking Lot Ponder - OOTD

Yes, it is September and yes, our long days are soon disappearing into the universe only to return next year. I have secretly been wanting to wear my sweaters and boots but refusing to believe that summer has come and gone already. There are always things on my to-do list that will have to wait till next year (I always think I have so much time, until I don't and it's too late). To be honest, I have had a lot of things on my mind lately, and just the reflection and stillness of these photos makes the post that much more representative and authentic.

Nonetheless, here is one of the final OOTDs of Summer, wearing my signature jean shorts and t-shirt look.

While the outfit itself is quite casual with the distressed Levis shorts, the t-shirt and sneakers, the earrings, choker and tote bag give it a hint of class and allowing the look to fall into place.

Do not try the following at home. It was quite dangerous and risky. Sick shot though :)

Key Pieces

The t-shirt is the newest addition to my collection featuring a melting popsicle crying on the front pocket. From one of the TO markets, this t-shirt is simple because of its crisp and boxy shape while being a little fun with the design.

I love the pin for it's amazing Broad City reference while also having an embedded bit of TO.

The necklace is such a great spin on a trend, incorporating the silver and crystal into a classic piece. While chokers may be just a trend for 2016, I feel like this piece can be timeless because of its detail.

Sneakers and bag give the look somewhat of a sporty feel, while also keeping it quite clean with the solid colors and simplistic details.

Like always, thank you again to my friend Terrie for taking such lovely photos while visiting MTL.

I hope you enjoyed this OOTD and hope it inspired you to feel free to mix different pieces not not be afraid to integrate styles. If done right, it can really make the outfit come to life and bring some individuality to your wardrobe.

We'll see each other soon :)
