Late in Coming - Birthday Haul
Gotta love it when the day you're being brought into this world is being celebrated by the people in your life, whether current or past acquaintances. Nonetheless, it was very much appreciated for all the warm wishes. While turning a quarter of century, I have realized that the experience that people bring to your life are much more richer than material goods. However, I am fortunate enough to have close friends and family treat me for these 25 years of living. Here's the load down.
The Shit
The Elegance
Mentioned this in my Summer Wishlist post, got my hands on it thanks to my lovely boss. Elegant and sweet (but not too sweet), it is the perfect fragrance for these last summer nights.
The Bling
I have been watching a new watch for ages and had my eye on this for a good couple of months. I saved up my money and together with my parents, was able to get a memorable gift for myself to commemorate it. The bracelets, from my lovely coworkers (aka The Baehive) was an added bonus, considering they go with the watch perfectly. These have been permanently glued to my arms since I have received them, so don't be surprised if you see them in a future OOTD.
The Swag
My lovely siblings were kind enough to add to my sunglasses collection with this gorgeous pair. The gray marble especially makes this pair unique, making it one of the stars of the collection. As for the Disaronno, this petite bottle (also from the Baehive), will be of use on those hot nights where one needs a drink.
The All Black Everything
Classic black shopper from Zara to go with any outfit and it is a good size that fits all the essentials. Thank you to my bae An Lisa for hooking me up - she knows I love my bags.
My boyfriend outdid himself this year with this badass pair of headphones. He took into consideration its aesthetics, sound quality and functionality that would fit my everyday life. I do look like a wannabe DJ when I wear them, but thats really part of the fun in having them.
Your lips but better kind of color. Thanks to my lover Anita, this is always in my handbag.
Well there you have it, short but sweet things I got from my peeps. It's amazing how people really get to know you and know your taste....I'm very thankful for the people in my life who have been there for me through it all. You have all made a difference or impact and I really wouldn't have it any other way.
